OBITUARY:
Michael "Mick" L. Farmer, of Bend, died Tuesday of natural causes. He was 54.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Des-chutes Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Farmer was born Dec. 15, 1952, in Cottage Grove to Delmont and Ida (Leonard) Farmer. He married Deborah McBride on Feb. 19, 1972, in Bend. He was a heavy- equipment mechanic for Goodfellow Brothers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family. He had moved to Bend when he was 12.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; three daughters, Amanda De Vicente and Angela, both of Bend, and Nicole Chapanar, of North Bend; a brother, Bruce, of Forest Grove; two sisters, Eona Hinds, of Medford, and Janet Lovell, of Salem; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
