Funeral services for Frank Arthur Samson of Mesa, Arizona, were held October 8, 1963, at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God church at Walthill with Rev. Henry Stiles and Rev. Delbert R. Turner officiating.
Frank Arthur Samson was born October 20, 1891, at Oakland, Nebraska, to John and Hilda Samson. He died in the Methodist Hospital at Sioux City, Iowa, October 6, 1963, at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 14 days. Cause of death was a stroke suffered two weeks previously.
He spent his early years around Oakland and Bancroft, attending rural schools and York Business College.
On February 28, 1917, he was married to Antonia Posvar of Pender at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bancroft by Rev. Homann. To this union six daughters were born.
Mr. Samson was a farmer and spent his life around Oakland, Rosalie, Bancroft and Mesa, Arizona.
He is survived by his widow and six daughters. Mrs. Raymond (Bernice ) Tisbert, Whittier, California; Mrs. John (Vivian) Beukema of Redlands, California, Mrs. Robert (Gale) Ratburn of Casper, Wyoming; Mrs. R. Delbert (Joyce) Turner of San Diego, California; Mrs. Harry (Clarice) Hennig of Rosalie; and MRs. Gene (Floy) Metschke, and also 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one granddaughter.
