Bamberg - Lila Mae Davis Davis, 91, of 55 Black Ave., Bamberg, died Monday, May 3, 2004, at Bamberg County Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, in South End Cemetery, Bamberg, with the Rev. James Dennis officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert L. Wolfe Jr., Brandon B. Hoffman, Adam S. Hoffman, Timmie Taylor and Ronnie Dempsey. Mrs. Davis was born Sept. 14, 1912, in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Willie Davis and the late Laura Hooker Davis. She was retired from Bamberg Manufacturing Company, and enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, embroidery and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colie Blease Davis; and a daughter, Francis Davis. Survivors include two daughters, Laura and Brabham Hoffman, of Bamberg, and Evelyn and Robert Wolfe, of Branchville; three grandsons, Robert L. Wolfe Jr., of Branchville, Brandon and Amanda Hoffman, of Bamberg, and Adam S. Hoffman, of Bamberg; one great-granddaughter, Katelyn Hoffman, of Bamberg; one brother, Joe Davis, of Bamberg; two sisters, Mildred Hoffman and Minnie L. Taylor, both of Bamberg. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Cooner Funeral Home, Bamberg. Memorials may be made to 'Missions', c/o Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O.
