Mary's birth name was Florence Steigler and she was born in Norfolk, Va. Her mother was Edna Dunning Steigler Rudd. She was the granddaughter of Robert Jackson and Lizzie Lee Dunning.
Florence was an actress. Her stage name was Mary Ainslee. She appeared in various roles in movies with The Three Stooges. Google 'Florence Steigler actress' or 'Mary Ainslee' for additional info. Note the birth and death dates differ from what is on her tombstone. One comment found was she never fully recovered from a stroke she had in the 1980s.
She died in New York and her ashes are interred here at Riverside Memorial Park in the same space with her grandmother, Lizzie.
Mary's inscription is on the opposite side of the Dunning headstone.
