Walter F. Kiefer, Piquad's Brother
Relatives here have been notified of the death of Walter F. Kiefer, 80, or Vinvennes, Ind., which occurred Sunday morning at Vincennes following short illness.
Born in Piqua, he was the son of Otto and Mary Plock Kiefer. He had lived in Vincennes since 1923 and was retired. His wife, the former Helen Recker, is deceased.
He is survived by four children; one brother, Leonard Kiefer of 900 W. Greene, Piqua, and several grandchildren.
The Requiem High Mass will be intoned Thursday morning at St. John Catholic Church, Vincennes, with burial in the Vincennes cemetery.
