Sid and Oma had no children. They fostered many children throughout the years.



Sidney Roup

Sidney Roup, 75, lifelong Park County resident, died Monday afternoon in Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Franzen-Davis Chapel with the Rev. Doit Allen of the Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in the Park View Gardens.
He was born Oct. 28, 1900, at Emigrant where he spent his early life and received his education.
He married Oma Martin Dec. 25, 1919, in Livingston. They made their home in Emigrant until moving to Livingston in 1927. He was employed by the Northern Pacific Railroad here as a shopman until his retirement in 1952. He was then employed by the Peterson-Dewing Agency until retiring in 1973.
Mr. Roup was a charter member of the Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Busby and Mrs. Carrie Bray, both of Livingston, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Sidney Roup, 75, lifelong Park County resident, were held Friday afternoon in the Franzen-Davis Chapel with Rev. Doyt Allen of the Assembly of God Church in Livingston officiating.
Music was furnished by Steve Plaggemeyer, Mrs. Ervin Hudson and Bill Nevin. Interment was in Park View Gardens.
Pallbearers were Roger Livermore, Larry Chapel, Bill Nevin, Virgil Reynolds, Roy Mitchell and Steve Penning.
