After she married Charles "Frank" Latham, May 11, 1930, they lived in Arizona, Portales, New Mexico, and Colorado. When they retired, they moved to Houston, Missouri to be near their daughter and family.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Hoage Chandler; two sisters, Maggie Coffman and Maude Ingram; four children, Tommy Frank, Mary Belle, Donald Ray, and Lewis Leroy; and one infant granddaughter, Leeanna Mae Haney.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Sammye and husband, Leon Haney of Houston; four grandchildren, Gwen Montgomery and husband, Joe of Houston, Darvin Haney of Bowling Greene, KY, Kathy Latham Avinger, and Lonnie Latham of FT. Worth, TX; seven great-grandchildren, Ashlee Montgomery Clifton and husband, Jonathan of Houston, Mandy Haney Harris and husband, Andrew, Michael Haney of Australia, Korie Haney Laskowski and husband, Ben, all of Madisonville, KY, Whitney Haney Grave and husband, Steven of Houston, TX, Tonya, and Rhonda Avinger. Also, eight great-great-grandchildren, Erin and Madiline Harris, Owen Laskowski, Mariah, Connor and Kaelan Clifton, and Stacie and Darren Munoz; niece, Betty Bailey, and two nephews, Mike Ingram and Wendell Armstrong.
Frances gave her life to her Savior as a child and has now gone to meet him. She was a member of Souls Harbor Church and attended as long as her health permitted. She was employed as a dental assistant for 25 years of her life. After retirement, one of her biggest hobbies was spending time with family and cooking lunch for her family on Sunday afternoon. She was famous in the family for her lemon pies and cherry cobbler. She was a very loving person and will be missed by all that knew her.
Visitation was Saturday, October 23, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home in Houston, MO. Services were at 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Bythel Friend officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Houston, MO. Online condolences can be sent to: www.evansfh.com
