Cherished wife of the late David Vaughan; Beloved mother of Lisa (Jon) Sandretti, Laura Marsh, Alexander Vaughan and Elliott Vaughan; Dear daughter of Shirley Kiel; Dear sister of Karol Kiel. Dear niece of Richard Walters; Loving friend of Patrick Schneider. Linda played clarinet in the Compton Heights Band. She was a St. Louis Historian who fought for the preservation of architecture. Linda was a graduate of Cleveland High School and St. Louis University. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stray Rescue of St. Louis or Masses. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 906 Eichelberger on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation at church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Entombment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum.
