daughter of Jesse and Margaret (Miller) Crawford and was born at Duncansville on
Dec 12, 1896 and was united in marriage with Mr. Dodson on Jan 5, 1916.
Surviving are the husband and these children: Melvin of Newry, Mrs. Chauncy
Claar of East Freedom, Roger S. of Orange, Calif., Sister Mary Rita of New York,
Mrs. Joseph Hamilton of Roaring Spring and Pauline, Shirley and Helen, all at
home; eight grandchildren, her mother and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. James
Miller of Martinsburg, Mrs. Edna Shaw of East Freedom, Mrs. Neil Hallaran of
Lowell, Mass., Mrs. James Sharpless of Sandy Ridge, Fred Crawford, Mrs. George
Furgeson, Mrs. John Hartman and Mrs. Thomas Ridenour and Jesse Crawford, all of
Duncansville. Mrs. Dodson was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church in Newry
and of the Altar and Rosary Society. Friends will be received at the home.
