Services for D.J. Vick of Grand Prairie were Friday at Chism-Smith Funeral Home in Irving. Burial followed in Cumby Cemetery in Cumby, Texas.
Mr. Vick, 65, died Tuesday in an Arlington hospital.
He was born July 24, 1938, in Greenville. Mr. Vick worked as a self-employed machinist.
He was preceded in death by son Gary Vick; brothers Delbert and Dennis Vick; and by his parents, Josh Sullivan and Otha Lue Caudle Vick.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Elaine Vick; four daughters, Sherrie Henderson of Flower Mound, Tammy Allen of Dallas, Michelle Logan of Hixon, Tenn., and Carol Wallace of Arlington; five sons, David and Rick Vick, both of Arlington, Darrell Vick of Scurry, Texas, Mark Jennings of Plano and Michael Jennings of Farmersville; 28 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
