Married to Jeremiah Kimbrough in Rowan Co. N. C. in 1799. she is daughter of Stephen & Elizabeth Rich Mendenhall. The Mendenhall Family were all Quakers. Know that she and her husband raised a large family in Clinton Co. Sarah was of the Quaker faith but in 1811 she was disowned at the Springfield, N. C. as she married out of the Quaker faith.
