Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home in Laingsburg with Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Family will meet with friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Reed Cemetery.
Beatrice was born on August 8, 1920 in Laingsburg, the daughter of Warren and Nellie (Aldrich) Wolfrom. On November 15, 1938 she married Clarence Pierce in Angola, IN and he predeceased her in 1992. She was a homemaker, worked for Sears as a clerk for 18 years and Van Evers Nursing Home in Laingsburg. She belonged to the Laingsburg American Legion Auxillary and love to attend Jamborees and play bingo.
Beatrice is survived by three children; Shirley Sickles of Laingsburg, Joan(George) Abel of Seattle, WA and Howard (Sandy) Pierce of Laingsburg, 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by children Marjorie, Mary lou Braska and Richard, son-in-law Roger Sickles, brothers; Clifford, Cleo, Glenn and Dale Wolfrom and sister Linda Malkin.
