She lived in Arizona for 41 years where she raised her two youngest sons. She and her husband Dwight moved from Nebraska to Phoenix, then Parker, Kingman, and Prescott. Upon his retirement, they returned to Phoenix. After Dwight's death, Sue returned to Kingman.
Sue remains a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to Christian service in her church and community. Through the years she provided direction and leadership as both an elder and a deacon at Kingman Presbyterian Church. She was an active member and former officer in TOPS, an international organization dedicated to healthy living. She continually expressed her love for people and God through many public performances and solos with local choirs.
Born in Bloomington, Ind., Sue later moved to West Lafayette. She raised most of her children on the Wildcat Turkey Farm near Rossville, Ind. Through her marriage to Dwight, she created an extended and blended family that stretches across the breadth of the United States. While she was an employee only once, she worked tirelessly.
