Born Dec. 8, 1924, in Delphi, the daughter of Hansel and Joan Murphy McHardie. Her marriage was on Sept. 18, 1942, in Delphi, to Clarence Lowe, who survives.
A 1942 graduate of Delphi High School, worked at Bryant Manufacturing in Monticello 17 years. Former residents of Monticello, she and her husband moved to Jensen Beach, FL in 1981.
Also surviving are two sons, Dan Lowe of Galveston and Jim Lowe of Indianapolis; a sister, Dorothy Jones of Rockfield; three step-sisters, Opal McKinley of Delphi, Ruth Tatman of Flora, and Marjorie of Rossville; and three grandchildren.
Private family services will be Friday at the Rockfield Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joan Stary officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Rockfield.
