Gamaliel Bradford, 69, internationally known biographer and author, died Monday night at his Wellesley Hills home.
Bradford devoted many years of exhaustive study to biographies which brought him world acclaim.
He spent fourteen years of painstaking research on his work Lee, The American, and his The Soul of Samuel Pepys brought him international recognition.
In recent years he was an editorial writer for the Boston Herald.
