Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Parons Mortuary for Earl C. Wasson, 81, 3700 Lanewood, who died Sunday in Woodland Nursing Home after an extended illness. Rev. Robert Shoff will officiate and burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7-9 p.m today and before the services Tuesday.
Mr. Wasson was a native of Madison County and had lived in Muncie most of his life. He operated several service stations and was a salesman for L.S. Price Mercantile Co. He also had been a crossing guard for Muncie Community Schools. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Charlton, Muncie, Mrs. DonCard, Carra Bell, Fla., and Mrs. Beverly Madison, Waynesville, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Mable Childs, Gaston; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
