JASPER, TN - Herbert H. Dover, 80, passed away Sunday October 24, 2010.
He was a lifetime resident of Marion County, TN and was a retired plumber and steamfitter out of Local 43 in Chattanooga, TN.
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Nelson and Neva Pearl Abernathy Dover; and brothers, Allen, John Henry and Hugo Dover.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Margie Lee Wells Dover; son, Herbert Michael Dover; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Jimmy Belk; grandchild, Amber Lee Belk; sisters, Essie Nichols and Lessie Williams; in-laws, Hosey and Joyce Wells, Helen Dover Evans, Mamie Wells, Betty Ragan and Wanda Sue Dover and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at noon today, October 26, 2010, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with Brother Roger Webb and Brother Junior Holloway officiating.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Anthony, Josh Kilgore, James Rounsaville, Blake Holt, Ronnie Ragan and Mike Hardy.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon CDT today, October 26, 2010.
