John is my 4x great grandfather.

1st married Rachiel Smith, Nov 6 1843, Bibb County, Alabama. Listed with the following children on the 1850 census in Cherokee County, Texas: Henry C, Catherine A E I, Mary A C, Cassandra (Sarah Goodwin?), and James.

2nd married Nancy (Smith) Banks in Cherokee County, Texas Feb 16, 1851. Children are: John Richard (Dick), Helen Ailsey, and Laura C.

3rd married Lee Anna Goodwin about 1863. Children are: William Lone, George, Asa (A. C.), William Holliway (Hall), Nancy Elizabeth (Betty), L.U., Wiley Leonard, Joseph, and Emma Belle.

Leanna is found on the 1880 census with several of the children in Cherokee County, Texas near her family listed as a widow. I'm not exactly sure when John died, because Leanna's last child, Emma Belle, has years of birth listed from 1880-1884.

John's year of birth is listed as 1819 on the 1850 census, 1822 on the 1860 census, and 1815 on the 1870 census.
