GENESEO - Ethel May Van Buskirk Ulrickson, 100, Geneseo, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002.

Mrs. Ulrickson was born Ethel May Van Buskirk on June 30, 1902, at Howard County, Neb. She farmed and later owned a restaurant in Geneseo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira, in 1973; three daughters, Edith Blake, Joyce Ulrickson and Marilyn Matous; and a grandson.

Survivors in include a son, Oliver of Burleson, Texas; three daughters, Virginia Reeder of Lakeland, Fla., Iris Hemry of Geneseo and Rose Mary Monroe of Lyons; a sister, Winifred Mahaffey of Wichita; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sillin Funeral Home, 214 W. Avenue South, Lyons 67554. Burial will be in Geneseo Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Ellsworth County Historical Society in care of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
