Irene V. Bliss, 92, of Yakima died Sunday at Garden Village Care Center. Mrs. Bliss was born in Winoka,(Wynoka) Okla. She worked as a cook for Layman's Cafe in Selah and later as a caregiver at Yakima Valley School.
Survivors include a son, Larry Bliss of Goldendale; a daughter, Karen Fischer of Yakima; a brother, Quentin Lee Seaman of Amarillo, Texas; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Calvary Cemetery, Yakima.
