J. R. HIGDON DIES AT HOME TODAY
Funeral Services To Be Conducted At Bell Springs
J. R. Higdon, aged 60 years, beloved resident of the Vinemont community, died at his home on Vinemont route one this morning at 10:30 o'clock of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at Bell Springs church by Rev. J. O. Raley and interment will be made there, Drinkard and Howell directing.
Mr Higdon is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs Elizabeth Higdon of Lacon route one; three sons, John Higdon of Decatur, Claude Higdon of Vinemont and Ludy Higdon of Cullman route four; five brothers, J. T. of Guntersville route three, Ben of Vinemont route one, Ed of Lacon route one, F. F. of Mt Pleasant, C. C. of Crest View, Tenn., Luther of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs Susan Wildman of Crest View and Mrs Belle Dutton of Lacon.
