Her mother Levisa Glasgow [nee Morrison] was remarried to Mr. Crawford Spurlin about 1880.
Lila first married Thomas S. Carter on Nov 8, 1888 in Lamar County, Texas; then William T. Ansley on Sep 11, 1904 in El Paso, Texas.
Two children - Odra May Carter, born 1890 and Edward Carter, born 1900, died about 1904 from diphtheria.

OBITUARY
Following an illness of one week, Mrs. Lillian Ansley, Route 2, Denison, died in a local hospital Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be conducted Friday the 3rd at the Short-Murray Chapel with interment at Oakwood.
Born June 27, 1867 in Illinois, she was the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. G. Glasgow. She received her schooling in Paris, to which city her parents moved when she was a small child. Later she moved to Denison in 1890 and lived here until 1904 when she moved to El Paso, where she was married to W. T. Ansley.
In 1925 she returned to Denison and has lived here since that time. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survived are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Odra Biard, in Houston, and other relatives.
