Mulberry Gap Obit for 1894 has this: p. 7
"Brother William Blankenbickler, was born January 1st 1820, and died November 21st 1893. He professed faith in Christ, and joined the baptist church in the year 1854, and lived a faithful member, serving as deacon 15 years. He was afflicted with paralysis for several years and bore his affliction with christian patience and resignation. He was an affectionate father and husband, a kind friend and neighbor, and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He sympathized much with the afflicted and was always read y to visit the sick and to comfort the distressed. He leaves an aged widow and four children to mourn his loss, but their loss is his eternal gain. He has gone to the home
where the wicked cease from trembling and the weary are at rest." 1894 MGM
