Born Oct. 17, 1906, in Benevola, Md., he was the son of the late William H. and Nannie Main Lynch.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Irene Lynch, in 1988.
He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft, for 30 years, retiring in 1972.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by one son, Richard P. Lynch of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Diebert and Ethel Shifler; and three brothers, Donald Lynch, Hubert Lynch and Willie Lynch.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. Lans E. Alexis will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ravenwood Lutheran Village, 1183 Luther Drive, Hagerstown, Md. 21740.
