GREENUP - Doris Catherine Sidwell, age 89, of Greenup, IL passed away at 12:15 AM - Friday, October 22, 2010 at Heartland Manor in Casey, IL. Doris was born on April 5, 1921 in Greenup, IL the daughter of Samuel Leslie and Ella (Bitner) Shafer. She married Clarence Ray Sidwell and he preceded her in death. Doris is survived by: Sons – Jerry L. (special friend Rosie Brandenburg) Sidwell of Greenup, IL, and Larry G. (wife Glenda Mae) Sidwell of Woodson, IL; 7 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great Great Grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews also survive. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 grandson, 1 great grandson and 2 sisters.
