Stephen Dean Coppage, 67, of Altus, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday at Stewart Funeral Chapel in Hollis with Tony Larson officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis.

Steve was born Jan. 8, 1943, to Alton "Cop" and Lillian (Robinson) Coppage in Detroit, Mich. He graduated from Hollis High School in 1961 and the University of Oklahoma in Norman in 1965. Steve owned and operated an Oil Field Servicing Company. He had lived in the Altus area for many years. He was an avid sports fan and like his father loved the game of football.

Steve is survived by one sister, Patti Goolsby and her husband Dennis of Hollis; one niece, Trish Harris and her husband Carlton of Norman; one nephew, Brad Goolsby of Norman; one great-niece, Avree; and one great-nephew, Taylor.

Mr. Coppage was preceded in death by his parents, Alton "Cop" and Lillian Coppage.
