She was a 1930 graduate of Wellington High School. She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Brumfield's Grocery Store Wellington. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wellington and the Sullivan OES.
Eva is survived by 2 daughters, JoAnn Davies of Bowling Green, KY and Linda (Gary) Barnes of Wellington; 2 sons, John (Mary Jane) Halliwill of Beaumont, CA and Eugene (Charlotte) Halliwill of Inman, SC; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene in 2001; a brother, Charles Wait; and 3 sisters, Ruth Avery, Betty Myers and Jeanne Tenney.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Wellington, 127 Park Avenue, Wellington. Rev. Brian Burke will officiate
