Hall was the third of six children born to Orrin and Louisa Ann (Kingsbury) Hall on 21 July 1852, in Brighton, Lorain County, Ohio, and died on 9 Dec 1924 in Lorain County, Ohio, at the age of 72. He married Myrta "Myrtie" Leona Nicholson 31 Oct 1889 in Lorain County, Ohio, and together they had at least one child: Gilbert Nichols. "
