Charles Corriggio was the son of the late Carl and Carmella Agnello Corriggio. The family came to the United States in 1912 and settled in Bellevue, Ohio. He was born there and attended schools there. His brother PFC Joseph P. Corriggio, USMC was killed at Guadalcanal.
