Lucky Kirby, a resident of Sulphur, OK was born November 5, 1945 in Kiwah, Oklahoma to Helen Pearl (Cochrum) and Coy "Ike" Kirby. He passed away Saturday October 23, 2010 at the age of 64 years 11 months and 18 days.
He worked for Pitmon Propane Service. He grew up in Sulphur, then lived in California and New Mexico, before returning to Sulphur. He attended Midway Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son Burl Sutherland; 2 Brothers - Coy and Ernest Kirby; Sister - Betty Gaylor.
Survived by his Spouse - Connie Gail Norton of Sulphur, OK; Daughter and Son in law - Kendra and Brandon Barger of Colonial Heights, VA; 4 Children - Lea McKinney, Richard Sutherland, Preston Norton, and Robin Smithers; 2 Half Brothers - Paul Williams and Ralph Williams; 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren
Services were held Monday October 25, 2010 at Midway Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Willard McCartney, Jr. Burial will follow under the direction of DeArmans Clagg Funeral Home.
