Carla Cox Renfro, 51, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2010. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Corinth Baptist Church, 2704 Ennis Ave., Fort Worth. Wake: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. Carla was born Oct. 21, 1958, in Fort Worth to Lonnell Thomas and Joleen Ross. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors: Mother, Joleen Thompson; stepfather, Frank Cox Sr.; sons, Reginald Thompson III and Damion Cox; grandchildren, Ashton Thompson and Regine Thompson; sisters, Shirlene Davis, Mollie Johnson and Wilma Mason (Doug); brothers, Frank Cox Jr., Michael Cox (Vicki), and Gregory Cox; and a host of other relatives and friends.
