As a child I have the fondest memories of my mother. She raised five of us kids and never complained. She took us to church regularly every wednesday night and sunday morning and sunday night. She loved Jesus with all her heart, and raised her 5 children to follow her example. We use to love to hear the stories she would tell us of how God would intervene in her life when she was a child in East Germany durring WWII. Mom got breast cancer in 1972 and was told she had 6 months to live. But thank the Lord he gave her 12 more years until us kids were able to take care of our selves. I know some day soon the Trumpet will sound, and the dead in Christ will rise ,and then we who remain who love the Lord will be caught up in the air to meet the Lord in the air. This is the hope of my brother, three sisters ,and myself. We are all married now and all have children of our own now(18 grandkids). Mom only got to know 1 grandchild(my daughter)and she went home to the Lord when my daughter was 1 year old. But how she loved her. Thank you Lord for blessing us with a mom that raised us to live for you.
