William Heddleson Struck by Automobile Dies of Injuries

CALDWELL, O., August 30 - Injuries sustained Thursday morning, when he was struck by an automobile, resulted in the death shortly before noon today, of William Heddleson, 85, resident of this city for the past 3 years. When he attempted to cross the street in front of the Columbia hotel here Thursday morning in heavy traffic, due to the county fair, the aged man stepped directly from the path of one machine into that of another. The automobile passed over his body. Mr. Heddleson was one of the best known residents of this community and up until 3 years ago had made his home in the South Olive community. He is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters: Willis Heddleson, of near this city; Joseph, of Ava; Clyde, Newport, KY; and Mrs. Bertha Pallen, Greenville, OH; Mrs. Lillie Ogle, Dudley; and Mrs. Ed Murray of this city. Funeral services will be held from the Murray home Sunday morning at 10:00, and burial will be made in the Olive cemetery, near here.
