Abraham Sanchez, Jr., age 48, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2010. He was born on October 16, 1961 in Gary, Indiana the son of Abraham and Ramona Sanchez, Sr. Abraham was a 1979 graduate of Edison High School in Lake Station, IN. He worked for Hosley International in their warehouse. Abraham was a member of the American Legion, he loved football and watching the Bears, and was an avid White Sox fan. He was a devoted father, loving son, wonderful brother, who with a big heart would do anything for anyone. Abraham is survived by his loving family; daughters Isabella, Savannah, Alexis, and Chloe Sanchez; mother, Ramona Sanchez, Puerto Rico; sisters, Dolly (Eric) McCall, Hammond, IN, Irma Collazo, Lake Station, IN, Hilda Sanchez, Miller, Rosa Sanchez, Lake Station, IN; brothers Hector Sanchez, Portage, IN, Ramon (Kelly) Sanchez Chesterton, IN and Frank Sanchez, Portage, IN and other loving family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Abraham Sanchez, Sr. A visitation for Abraham Sanchez will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Rees Funeral Home – Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station, IN.
