Mrs. Cynthia Ver Meer died unexpectedly at her home. Her daughter, Mrs. M. Intveld, went to see her Saturday afternoon and the door was locked. Mr. and Mrs. Intveld and Gerrit Ver Meer went in and she had passed away for some time.
Mrs. Cynthia Ver Meer was born in The Netherlands April 9, 1880 and died of a heart attack at her home in Hull.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 13, from the home and First Reformed church with Rev. N. Rozeboom officiating.
Surviving are eight children, Mrs. M. Intveld of Hull; Mrs. Joe Van Omeren of Orang City; Mrs. Harry Stientjes of Doon; Mrs. John W. Kooiker of Ellsworth, Minn., Mrs. Peter Van Omeren of Maurice; Mrs. Harvey Vink of Worthington, Minn.; Gerrit and Edward of Hull.
Her husband, Jake Ver Meer, preceded her in death May 19, 1936.
Also surviving are grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Vander Schaaf and Mrs. Lammert Kooiker of Hull; Mrs. Dena Hospers of Denver, Colo.; and one brother, William Te Slaa of Hull.
