Surviving are her children, DeWayne "Butch" (Judy) Doctor, and Sharon (Stan) Palmer, both of Fort Wayne, and Karen (Rev. Lloyd) Bickel of Auburn; brother, Russell (Marilyn) Roemer of New Haven; sisters, Delores Swanson of Fort Wayne, and Audine (Bob) Love of New Haven; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1981; sisters, ClaraBell Heemsoth, Dorothy Sheehan, Edna Boyer, Marcile Love, Hilda Anderson, and Marie Bohren; and brothers, Earl, Alvin, Charles, and Kenneth Roemer.
Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church-Soest , 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service at the church. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana Hwy., 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in the church cemetery.
