Jessie Lee Lawson of Rev. H.D. Lawson Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tennessee. He was 76 years, 10 months and 23 days of age. He was born on November 28, 1933 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Euel Lawson and Anna Roller Lawson. He was a member of Cooks Baptist Church.
He is survived by his six sisters, Linda Anderson of Toledo, Ohio, Judy Davis of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Roberta Teague and her husband Junior of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Fannie Dalton of Toledo, Ohio, Alla Fowler of Vinemont, Alabama and Maggie Baker of Williamsburg, Kentucky; six brothers, Woody Lawson and his wife Janet, Ewell Lawson and his wife Janie, Phillip Lawson, (Pete) Henry Lawson, John Lawson and his wife Rita and John Leach and his wife Angie, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Cooks Baptist Church.
The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Cooks Baptist Church with Rev. James Lawson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Lawson-Siler-Reedy Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Joshua Bargo, Cody Petrey, Wood Lawson, Chad Lawson, Troy Norman, Walter Davis, Jared Reeder and Dustin Lay will serve as pallbearers.
