Daughter of Simeon Johnson Brewton and Matilda Underwood Tippins. Matilda is buried in the Brewton Cemetery, US 301 N, Claxton, Evans Co., GA. Unless the grave is unmarked, Simeon is not buried here.

Nancy married first on 17 May 1859 most likely in Tattnall Co., GA to Amos Jackson Hearn, son of Jesse Hearn and Lucida Johnson Hearn.

They had three children:

1. Melvina Emility "Mellie" Hearn, b. 08 Apr 1861 Tattnall Co., GA; d. 27 Jan 1927, Evans Co., GA. Melvina married John R. Rogers, son of Uriah Allen Rogers and Martha Brewton.

2. Simon Amos Hearn, b. 16 Jul 1862 Tattnall Co., GA; d. 24 Feb 1928, buried in section G2 of this cemetery in the Parker-Hearn plot, beside his wife, Della Anthony Hearn.

3. Charles William Hearn, b. 04 Apr 1864 Tattnall Co., GA; d. 11 Apr 1921, buried in section G2 of this cemetery, beside his wife Nancy Eulalia Durrence Hearn.

After Amos's death, Nancy remarried 21 Jun 1865 to John Chadburn Parker, probably in Tattnall Co., GA. John C. Parker, b. 13 Mar 1836. Their children are as follows:

1. Alice Emily Paker, b. 13 Apr 1866, Tattnall Co., GA; d. 27 Feb 1947; buried in this cemetery, section H8 as Alice Parker Wood, beside William Henry Wood, her husband.

2. Adeline "Addie" Lila Parker, b. 08 Apr 1867 Tattnall Co., GA; d. 21 Jun 1942.

3. Walter Nollie Parker, b. 28 Nov 1868 Tattnall Co., GA; d. 30 May 1945

4. (Edella) Matilda Jane Parker, b. 01 May 1870, Tattnall Co., GA; d. 31 Dec 1940, married William S. Smith 30 Dec 1896.

5. Lavenia S. Parker, b. 29 Feb 1872, Tattnall Co., GA; d. 02 May 1872, buried in section G2 of this cemetery in the Parker-Hearn plot.
