Jack Kenneth Brazear, 73, of Conway died Monday (Dec. 31, 2001) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 21, 1928, in Conway, son of the late Sylvester and Bessie Johnson Brazear, he worked in the maintenance department at the Conway School District, was a member and deacon of Emmanuel Baptist Church, township committeeman for East Cadron B, a member of the 286 East Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the mounted police.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Brazear.
Survivors are a daughter, Karen Dudek of Maumelle; two brothers, Charles Brazear of Kansas City, Mo., and Bill Brazear of Conway; three sisters, Pauline Cargile and Betty Jo White, both of Conway, and Myrtle Cupit of North Little Rock; and a granddaughter, Crissy Johnson of Conway.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Calvert and the Rev. Jack Bean officiating. Burial will be in Oak Bowery Cemetery by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
Pallbearers will be Billy K. Brazear, Gary Brazear, Gene Cupit, George Paulos, Joe White and David Darius. Honorary pallbearers will be Randall McPherson and Royce McPherson Jr.
