Funeral service for Mandy Nicole Ross, 14, of Mount Enterprise, Texas, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in the Family Life Center at Landmark Baptist Church in Mount Enterprise, Texas, with Brother Darrel Owens, Brother Benny Burleson and Brother Joe Orr officiating. Burial will be in Isabell Chapel Cemetery in Mount Enterprise.

Mandy Nicole Ross died April 12, 2003, in Tyler, Texas. Mandy is preceded in death by grandfather, James A. Ross Jr; grandmother, Tommie Gene Scroggins; great-grandmother, LuLa Mae Scroggins; great-grandfather, Herman Leon Scroggins; and an uncle, Gene Tommy Scroggins.

Born April 4, 1989, in Nacogdoches, Texas, she was the daughter of James Andrew Ross III and Brenda Lee Ross. Mandy was a member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a cheerleader at Mount Enterprise ISD from 2000-2002. All her friends and their families loved her. Mandy was always smiling and dancing. She loved to have fun with her friends, and she loved to swim. Mandy was in the eighth-grade class at Mount Enterprise ISD.

Survivors include her parents, James Andrew Ross III and Brenda Lee Ross of Mount Enterprise, Texas; brothers, James Aaron Ross and Jared Logan Ross, both of Mount Enterprise, Texas; and grandmother, Ellen Olene Ross of Mount Enterprise, Texas. Survivors also include numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jared Logan Ross, David Lollar, Steven Sallee, John Sallee, Eddie Lynn, Brandon Brewster, Chris Clark, Cody France, Mary Grounds, Anthony Jenkins, Craig Kerrs, David Lollar, Dakota Grounds and Justin Kniffen.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 today.
