3 May 1957: Mrs. Mary E. Bridges, well known proprietor of a diner at 12th and Cumberland Streets, this city, died suddenly at 8:19 o'clock last night at the dinner. She resided at 126 South 11th Street. County Coroner Dr. A. H. Heisey said the 56-year-old Mrs. Bridges died of a heart attack. Widow of Andrew V. Bridges, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Gwendolyn (Morgan) Bentz. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Milton Clark, Philadelphia, and three brothers, Harvey S. and William Bentz, both of Lebanon, and David Bentz, East Annville. Two grandchildren, Patricia Ann and Barbara Lynn Clark, also survive. [Lebanon Daily News]
