Fred Gilbert Johnson was the s/o Andrew Jonas Johnson b. 1856 Sweden and Olive June Elblom 1862 Bishop Hill, IL raised their family in Galva, IL. He was one of five children; Andrew Linious 1856-1913, George Eugene 1880-1901, June (Junnie) Olive 1884-?, and Lawrence August 1886-?. They moved to Lincoln, NE after Grandpa Johnson was injured on job with Burlington RR in Galva. He worked for the School District in Lincoln, NE keeping the grounds and school in repair. Fred and Emma had 12 children. Earl "Pete", Katerine "Kate", Geraldine "Jerry", Glen "Dutch", Alice, Ilene, Emily, Andrew "Tuffy", Fred, George, David and Doris. They all are with them now.
