"Catherine Malissa Clem was born at Reger, Mo., April 15, 1849, and died March 1, 1913. She was married to James K. Reger on November 15, 1867, and to this union seven children were born, six of whom are living, as follows: Mrs. O. A. Wolfe, Mrs. J. E. Mewmaw and Mrs. W. H. Guthrie of Harris, Mo.; E. F. Reger of Fairfield. Neb., E. H. Reger of Pollock, Mo., and Mrs. J. R. Dennis of Harris, Mo. These with her husband and a host of friends are left to mourn their loss.

Mrs. Reger was converted in 1893 and united with the M. E. church. Later she met the Free Methodist people and united with them in 1897, where she had always lived a devoted Christian life. To know her was to love her.

The funeral was held in the M. E. church near her home and was conducted by Rev. Walter Simmons, pastor of the Free Methodist church, and the remains were laid to rest in the Asbury cemetery to await the second resurrection." The Milan Republican (Milan, Missouri), March 13, 1913
