Stockbridge – Gustave Dorn died here suddenly Tuesday. Mr. Dorn had been in ill health for several months from a complication of diseases.

Mr. Dorn was born at Black Wolf, Wis., April 10, 1869. He came with his parents to Stockbridge as a youth and settled on the old August Dorn farm. He married Miss Margeret Nicholi and four children were born to them; Ray of Neenah; Leo, DePere; Mrs. Lease Loehr, Oshkosh; Mrs. Mabel Wilson, Winneconne.

He was married a second time on June 24, 1916 to Miss Alice Wezel of Holland, Mich., by whom he had two children, Gladys and Shirley. He is survived also by a sister, Mrs. Emma Babbitz, Menasha.

Mr. Dorn lived in Menasha for a short time after his second marriage. He then moved with his wife to Holland, Mich., where they lived for two years, after which they moved back to Stockbridge four years ago. They lived in the village for a year and then moved to a farm northwest of the village where they lived for the last three years.

The funeral will be held Friday from the house, with Rev. Charles Dobbertin of the Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the Portland cemetery, Brant.
