Nancy Dunlap was the third daughter of Lorenzo Dow Dunlap and Nancy Jane Wharton, born abt. 1847 in Arkansas. For some unknown reason, her birthdate does not seem to have been recorded with those of her siblings. She is believed to have died, along with her parents, and 5 of her 7 siblings, in the 11 September 1857 in the Mountain Meadows Massacre. She was 9 years old when she died.
