Union, N.Y. News - Death of a Popular Resident -
Mrs. Nancy M. LaGrange peacefully entered into rest Friday, June 24th, after a prolonged illness. Mrs. LaGrange is one of Union's oldest residents, having lived here about 63 years.

She was born in Brooklyn, Pa., Feb. 3rd, 1819. She has always been a prominent church worker. She has been a widow for a number of years, Mr. LaGrange died in the year 1872.

Mrs. LaGrange is survived by five children, Erwin and Fayette LaGrange of Neb., Mrs. Mary Griffis and Mrs. Davis of Montrose, Pa., and Miss Harriet LaGrange, a missionary in Syria, three brothers and three sisters are still living. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Presbyterian church, Rev. C. L. Luther officiating.
