La Bretagne with her older sister Rebecca and a younger brother known in that record as Benjamin but later went by William. The manifest says they were joining their uncle in Philadelphia but no name given. She married Haroutune Sookasian in Philadelphia on November 16, 1901. Her father Avedis died just five days later. Martha's grave and cemetery records say she was born in 1885 while other records say 1880 and 1881. The date used here of 1884 is on her death certificate. She lived at 3518 Shelmire Avenue in Philadelphia at her death from uterine cancer.
