Charles was born in Orangeville, the son of John Adam Clor, Jr and his wife Margaret Raymer.
Died at his home in Orangeville of valvular heart disease.
January 1, 1885 he married Elizabeth Merle. She died November 1906.
They had six children, two dying in infancy. Surviving were Carl W., Minnie A., Erwin P. and Mary E. He also leaves two brothers and four sisters, John A. of Warsaw, George P. of Wethersfield Springs, Mrs. Margaret Welker of Orangeville, Mrs. V. Welker and Mrs. Louisa Glor of Attica and Mrs. W. J. Merle of Syracuse.
