Everett E. "Bud" Fultz, 84, of Remington, died at 12:35 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 1994, in the Jasper County Hospital. He had been hospitalized for five days and was in ill health for four months.
He was born on Sept. 21, 1909, in Salem, Ind. and was a 1927 graduate of Salem High School. He was a graduate of Purdue University's School of Agriculture. He had lived in Remington for most of his life.
He was married on March 5, 1938, in Colfax to Myrna R. Bowman who survives.
He had taught in Jasper County, was an Extension Agent, had farmed, and had served as a Farm Service Manager for the Remington Farmer Cooperative and the Farmers National Bank for years.
Mr. Fultz was a member of the First Christian Church of Remington, was on the board of Fountain Park Association, and had served as road superintendent of the park. He was a member of the Remington School Board for many years and was past president of the board.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna, a son, Samuel K, Sr. of Pittsboro, Ind., a brother, Fred Fultz of Joliet, Ill, a sister, Mrs. Ellen Heninger of Salem and two grandchildren.
Four sisters preceded in death.
The visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 12, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stitz Funeral Home in Remington. The funeral will be on Tuesdya, Sept. 13, at 1 a.m. in the First Christian Church of Remington, with Dr. James W. Blanchard officiating. Interment will be in Remington Cemetery.
