Monroe William Meyer, 84, of Collinsville, OK passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. He was born November 29, 1925 in Etlah, MO to William Monroe and Myrtle (Bueker) Meyer. He had lived in Collinsville since 1993 having moved from Tulsa, OK. He was a member of the Discovery Bible Fellowship Church. He had worked as a Research Engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Berniece of the home, a step daughter, Marilee Waller and her husband Earl of Farmington, MO and a adopted daughter, Diane Harmon of Tulsa, OK. 1 brother: Louis Meyer and his wife Sally of West Plains, MO, 3 sisters: Grace Juedemann of Berger, MO, Gurthlen Gardner of Washington, MO and Loretta Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO, 3 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin.
Visitation will be Sunday, 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. and Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Franz officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
